Breve curriculum
Nato a L'Aquila il 2 aprile 1940.
Laureato in Chimica presso l'Università di Roma "La Sapienza". Dal 1976 al 1981 è stato visiting scholar presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Chimica della University of California, Berkeley (USA), in collaborazione con il Prof. J.M. Prausnitz.
Dal 1989 è Professore Ordinario di Principi di Ingegneria Chimica presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria dell'Università degli Studi dell'Aquila. È autore di oltre 120 pubblicazioni scientifiche nei settori della Chimica Fisica, della Termodinamica dell'Ingegneria Chimica e degli Equilibri di Fase.
È referee di numerose riviste scientifiche internazionali e membro dell'American Chemical Society.
